MOUs and Contracts

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is an agreement that documents the common purposes of two or more parties when they do not wish to presume legally binding obligations. An MOU is usually less complicated and less detailed than a contract, though it still provides a framework and set of rules to guide the parties in carrying a project or working arrangement.
