The Chancellor of Wasit University in Iraq visited the schools of pharmacy and medicine at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences on July 1, 2024. The purpose of the visit was to gain insight into the scientific, research, and welfare facilities available at the university.
Initially, the Head of International Affairs and Dean of the School of Medicine and his team warmly welcomed the Chancellor of Wasit University, his delegates. They toured the laboratories, library, IT center, clean room, anatomy halls, classrooms, and electronic exam hall to familiarize themselves with the facilities and potential of the school.
Subsequently, during the visit to the School of Pharmacy, Dr. Sajjad Fakhri, the Dean of the School, provided an overview of the educational, research, and technological advancements at the School of Pharmacy.
After the presentation, a discussion ensued regarding the products developed by the school, followed by a tour of the reference laboratory. This visit emphasized the importance of fostering scientific and research collaborations between the two countries and laid the groundwork for future developments in this field.
